Royal Oman Police launches new digital services

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) launched a set of digital services coinciding with the activities of the COMEX Global Technology Show 2024.

MUSCAT : Among the new offerings are the options to renew vehicle registrations through self-service machines and payment of traffic fines using bank apps.

Following is a list of digital services offered by the Royal Oman Police:

  • Renewing vehicle registrations through self-service machines
  • Linking with the Supreme Judicial Council to register marriage events electronically
  • Paying traffic fines using bank applications, Thawani wallet, and Tasdeed portal
  • Accessing electronic fingerprint form through the ROP application
  • Reprinting lost vehicle license via self-service devices after submitting the request through the ROP app
  • Linking with the Ministry of Health and the electronic visa system for medical examination and eliminating the need to attach it while applying for the visa before arriving in the Sultanate of Oman.
