MUSCAT : This move comes after reports of the blenders overheating, which could lead to fires and rupture of blender blades, posing significant risks to consumers.
The recall is initiated due to the high temperature of the BlendJet blender, which can cause it to catch fire and break the ends of the blender blades, exposing users to the risk of fire and injury. Consumers are urged to check the serial number of their BlendJet blenders on the recall website of the Consumer Protection Authority’s electronic portal at (recall.pacp.gov.om).
In response to these safety concerns, the manufacturer has committed to replacing all affected blenders. This measure is part of the ongoing efforts by the Consumer Protection Authority to ensure the safety and protection of consumers across Oman.
