Muscat – The meeting, chaired by Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, the Minister of Health and OMSB Chairman, addressed several key matters related to physician training.

During the meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the list of doctors applying for fellowship programmes (for academic year 2025 – 2026) and the list of doctors applying for specialty programmes (for academic year 2024-2025).

The meeting discussed modifications to specialized training programmes and scopes for increasing the number of doctors who join training programmes.

The meeting also studied two reports: one filed by the department running the Self-Evaluation Programme and the other filed by the Internal Accreditation Committee entrusted with training programmes and training centres.
