Muscat – The proposal is aimed at calming the situation, stopping the bloodshed and mutual military operations, as well as the return of the displaced to their areas with the release of prisoners and detainees from both sides.

His Excellency expressed his welcome and support for the agreement, as well as the Sultanate of Oman’s appreciation for the efforts made in this context by Egypt and Qatar in cooperation with the American administration.

The head of the Hamas Political Bureau also extended his thanks and appreciation for the position of the Sultanate of Oman in support of the just Palestinian cause, stressing the importance of continuous communication, constructive dialogue, and strengthening international efforts towards implementing international legitimacy resolutions.
