Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority of Oman has alerted residents and authorities to prepare for possible rainfall as meteorologists track a low-pressure system expected to impact the country starting Thursday, the second of May. The National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center has issued forecasts indicating the formation of clouds and chances of rainfall across various intensities.
According to specialists, the northern governorates of Oman are likely to experience the initial effects of this weather system, with forecasts suggesting a gradual extension towards Al Wusat and Dhofar governorates.
