MUSCAT : His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman engaged in discussions with His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain to delve into pressing regional matters.

Central to their deliberations was the situation in Gaza, where both ministers advocated for a robust ceasefire initiative. They stressed the importance of halting hostilities and working towards a just and lasting resolution for the Palestinian predicament. This resolution, they highlighted, should be rooted in international resolutions and the principles outlined in the Arab Peace Initiative.
