SAUDI ARABIA: The 88-year-old ruler of Saudi Arabia, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, has been admitted to King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah for routine medical checkups, as announced by the Saudi Royal Court on Wednesday.
The monarch, who took the throne in 2015, is undergoing examinations expected to last a few hours. This development comes after King Salman’s previous hospitalization in May 2022 for a colonoscopy and medical tests.
