Muscat – In response to questions about boycotting certain products, His Excellency emphasized that while consumers have the right to make choices based on their convictions and values, the Ministry cannot interfere in these decisions. He expressed appreciation for consumers’ beliefs and preferences.
Highlighting the availability of Omani alternatives for boycotted products, he underscored the importance of supporting the local industry.
He stated, “For every product that is boycotted, there is an Omani alternative that we hope the consumer will turn to. Omani industry must always be our first and last choice, with or without the boycott.”
