MUSCAT : In the first incident, the search and rescue teams recovered the body of an individual after a vehicle carrying three individuals got swept away by floodwaters in Wadi Halfin stream in the Wilayat of Adam. Search and rescue teams were able to save the other two people.
As per the latest report from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, another vehicle with four occupants also drifted into a valley stream in Adam Governorate.
Tragically, two individuals were found deceased at the scene, prompting an ongoing search for the remaining two individuals.
This takes the total number of deaths from the unstable weather conditions to 19.
