MUSCAT: All public, private and international schools across governorates of Muscat, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah and South Al Batinah will be closed on Monday, April 15, 2024, due to unstable weather conditions, the Ministry of Education has announced.
However the Ministry said classes can be held online “as possible at government, private and foreign schools.”
“Due to the current weather condition, work to be suspended, study to be online as possible at government, private, foreign schools tomorrow (Monday, 15 April 2024) in governorates of Muscat, North-South A’Sharqiyah, A’Dakhiliyah, A’Dhahirah and South Al Batinah,” the statement from Ministry added.

Schools will reopen on April 16.
