MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has issued a clarification regarding an accident video that is widely being circulated on social media platforms.
In a statement issued, ROP stated: “There is no truth to what is being circulated on social media platforms of a video clip in which the sound of gunshots is heard and a vehicle carrying a yellow plate colliding with a fixed object in the Maabilah area. The date of publication of the clip dates back to 3/18/2024 by one of the accounts in an Arab country and not in the Sultanate of Oman.”
