MUSCAT : The Ministry of Labour has announced the official holiday dates for Eid Al-Fitr, and has clarified the option for working during the designated holiday period.
In accordance with the decision, the Eid holiday for employees in public and in private sector establishments will commence on Tuesday, the 29th of Ramadan 1445 AH, corresponding to April 9, 2024. Work will resume officially on Sunday, April 14, 2024.
While it is permissible to work on the aforementioned day if necessary, arrangements must be made to compensate for this leave as per the applicable regulations.
On this auspicious occasion, the Ministry extends heartfelt congratulations and blessings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, praying for his continued protection, good health, happiness, and longevity.
