Muscat – Dr. Nasser bin Salem Al Ghanbousi, Director General of Education in the South Al Batinah Governorate, stated that these modern facilities, built at a cost of RO 3.67 million, is aimed at improving educational infrastructure and providing an optimal learning environment for students.

He revealed that the newly constructed Al Samoud (1-4) school building in Barka boasts 40 classrooms, 7 administrative offices, a learning resources center, a multi-purpose room, a cooperative society room, two playgrounds, and additional facilities to ensure students’ comfort and safety. Similarly, the Al Biruni (5-10) school building in Musannah features 36 classrooms, 7 administrative offices, laboratories, computer rooms, and other amenities designed to enrich students’ learning experiences.
Emphasizing the significance of these additions to the governorate’s educational landscape, Dr. Al Ghanbousi highlighted the adherence to quality standards and the incorporation of advanced facilities in line with the latest construction updates. These new buildings are expected to alleviate student overcrowding, reduce reliance on evening schools, and create a conducive learning environment.
