The next season of the Indian Premier League has begun, and you may or may not have the time to focus on your pending shows, but there’s a fix for that as well.

The Sixes and Fours are coming in hot, as are these shows. Brace yourself for a wild ride with this week’s binge list!

Avatar: The Last Airbender (Netflix)

A critically acclaimed animated series and a not-so-popular feature film later, Netflix has served a cautious yet excited fanbase with the next rendition of The Last Airbender.

It’s cruel to compare the animated series with the latest live-action series of The Last Airbender. However, die-hard fans might not be very forgiving, and rightfully so. Albert Kim, the show’s producer, had big shoes to fill but did a good enough job keeping the show afloat. Gordon Cormier settles very easily into the role of Aang, while his co-actors do a great job, too.

With the second and third seasons already confirmed, Netflix is seeing promising results from this latest rendition.

Swarm (Amazon Prime)

How far would you go to express your love if you were considered a “die-hard fan” of your favourite pop star? Have a vague threshold in mind? Now double the level of craziness, and you get a thrilling mini-series like Swarm.

From the brilliant and bold mind of Donal Glover comes an enthralling mini-series about a young girl who is obsessed with a pop star. However, things turn grim when her passion reveals twisted psychological motives beneath the layer of love and fluff.

Dominique Fishback’s powerful performance in this series leaves you cold to the touch, while Billie Eilish’s surprising debut brings the eerieness we have come to love in her work.
