MUSCAT : The development and expansion of sewage networks and a treated water network are underway in the Wilayat of Masirah.
The primary objectives include establishing a modern sewage network, complete with a distribution network for treated water, and rehabilitating essential pumping and lifting stations.
With an estimated projection of 3 years to completion, this ambitious project aims to cover 2,450 residential and commercial units across the island, spanning an impressive 90 kilometres in network lengths. Utilizing gravity flow technology, the new sewage network and treated water distribution system are poised to revolutionize Masirah’s environmental landscape.
