MUSCAT : As per Oman Meteorology report, Thumrait station recorded active gusts that reached 24 knots, Mukhaizna 18 knots, and Hamra Al Drooa 19 knots.
Surface wind activity caused dust and dirt to rise, leading to decrease horizontal visibility, especially in desert and open areas.
Sea wave height on the coast of the Arabian Sea was 1.25 to 2 metres.
Authorities urge residents to exercise caution and remain vigilant as the windy conditions persist. Motorists are advised to drive carefully, particularly in areas prone to reduced visibility due to blowing dust.
