Royal Oman Police crack down on traffic violators: 13 arrested, over 50 vehicles seized

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has notified the arrest of 13 individuals on charges of violating traffic regulations and public disturbance.

MUSCAT : The ROP’s South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command, in collaboration with the Rustaq Special Tasks Police Unit, arrested 13 individuals and seized 49 bicycles and four motorcycles.

The arrested individuals were found guilty of various offenses, including violating traffic rules and regulations, disturbing public comfort and tranquility, and endangering the lives of fellow road users.

The ROP also stated that legal procedures have been initiated against the arrested individuals.
