MUSCAT: Oman welcomed the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
In a statement issued, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also called on the need for Gaza to obtain all materials and humanitarian aid without hindrance.
The UN Security Council on Monday passed the resolution after US shifted position by abstaining from vote.
