MUSCAT : In a move to educate citizens and promote compliance, the Directorate has initiated an awareness campaign featuring posters displayed prominently on storefronts across the region.
The campaign aims to inform consumers about the importance of purchasing electrical appliances that meet the required safety standards outlined in the Gulf Technical Regulations. By raising awareness among citizens, the Ministry seeks to enhance consumer protection and promote the use of compliant appliances.
