Muscat – Anticipated weather conditions include formation of clouds and isolated rainfall across most governorates, with varying intensities ranging from 10 to 40 millimeters over Al Hajar Mountains and the governorates of South Al Sharqiya, Dhofar, and parts of Al Wusta.
Sea conditions are expected to be moderate to rough, with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 3 meters along coastal areas of Oman Sea and western Musandam. Northerly winds blowing at speeds of 12 to 25 knots may result in dust rising over desert and open areas.
Details of weather conditions for Tuesday and Wednesday include cloud advection and a possibility of thundershowers associated with downdrafts, potentially leading to wadis and flash floods. Fresh downdrafts with speeds ranging from 12 to 25 knots are expected.
The Civil Aviation Authority advises all individuals to exercise caution during rainfall, wadi flows, and reduced visibility.
