Muscat: In the ninth match of the tournament, Trichmeir X1 and Al Haseena Jewellers clashed in a showdown that saw fireworks with the bat. Al Haseena Jewellers’ batsman Shahid Rehmani stole the spotlight with a scintillating knock, smashing 95 runs with an array of breathtaking strokes, including 12 towering sixes and three well-placed fours. His stellar performance propelled Al Haseena Jewellers to a commanding total of 123/2. Despite Trichmeir X1’s valiant effort, led by Imran Rizvi’s quickfire 35 off 16 balls, they fell short by 29 runs, handing Al Haseena Jewellers a well-deserved victory. Shahid Rehmani’s heroics rightfully earned him the Man of the Match title.

Mazoon Dairy set Salalah King a challenging target of 103 runs in the eighth match. Washil Ahmad’s contribution of 23 runs was notable, while Salalah King’s bowler Mohamad Siddiqe made an impact with two crucial wickets for 21 runs in his spell.

In response, Salalah King’s Faisal, a seasoned tape ball player, showcased his prowess by smashing 39 runs off just 17 deliveries, including four towering sixes and two well-timed boundaries.

A quick cameo of 14 runs off five balls by Siddiqe sealed the deal for Salalah King as they chased down the target and emerged victorious. Mohammad Siddique’s all-around performance earned him the Man of the Match accolade.
