MUSCAT : The day marks the transition from winter to spring, as meteorological forecasts indicate a gradual increase in temperatures across various cities. Maximum temperatures are predicted to reach around 30 to mid-30 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, reflecting the seasonal shift towards warmer climates.
The spring season, known as astronomical spring, is associated with the vernal equinox and typically falls on or around March 20 in the Northern Hemisphere.
The timing of astronomical seasons, including the summer and winter solstices and the vernal and autumnal equinoxes is influenced by leap years and the elliptical orbit of the Earth around the sun.
