MUSCAT : This clarification aims to streamline processes for manufacturers, importers, granting bodies of local conformity certificates, and local laboratories that are accredited in the international standard ISO17025 and registered with the Directorate.
According to the announcement, the approval procedures outlined in Ministerial Resolution 199/2021, along with the product identification number (D-M-M-K-M-1-2022), apply exclusively to a specific list of products announced in the second phase.
Ministry emphasizes that these approval procedures do not extend to other products beyond those listed in the second phase. Therefore, certificates of conformity submitted through the Oman Business Platform/Bayan System for products not included in the specified list will not be accepted by the Directorate.
