MUSCAT : In a joint effort to address unemployment challenges and bridge the gap between higher education outcomes and industry needs, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation signed the cooperation program with the Ministry of Labour, the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), and the Industrial Innovation Academy.
The agreement, signed at the head office of the Ministry of Labour, aims to empower job seekers who hold professional diplomas.
The initiative seeks to align the skills of job seekers with the demands of the labour market by implementing a comprehensive training program tailored to the specific requirements of the industrial sector. By focusing on the outputs of professional diploma programs and the evolving needs of industries, the training program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and competencies to succeed in the workforce.
