MUSCAT : The Civil Aviation Authority has issued a weather advisory for Tuesday, March 12, 2024, forecasting the likelihood of scattered rain across several governorates in Oman.
With a focus on regions including Al-Dhahirah and South Al-Batinah, the advisory suggests potential extensions to Al-Dakhiliyah, Muscat, North and South Al-Sharqiyah, and Al-Wusta governorates, urging residents to exercise caution due to the risk of flooding in valleys and low-lying areas.
According to the latest forecasts, the anticipated rain showers are expected to vary in intensity, ranging from 5-35 mm. Additionally, active downward winds with speeds ranging between 15-60 knots are anticipated, emphasizing the need for vigilance and safety measures.
