Muscat: According to the latest report from the Consumer Protection Authority Department in Al Buraimi, 101 violations were identified and addressed throughout the year.
The department received a substantial influx of complaints and reports, totalling 932 cases. The department successfully facilitated refunds amounting to RO 48,385.62.
Additionally, the department’s enforcement efforts resulted in the imposition of 3,300 administrative fines and seized 299 commodities.
