Muscat: According to the forecast, most governorates across Oman can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies throughout the day. However, specific regions, including Al-Dhahira, Al-Dakhiliyah, North Al-Sharqiyah, South Al-Sharqiyah, Al-Wusta, and Dhofar, are likely to experience isolated thundershowers. These showers may be accompanied by downdraft winds and hail, prompting the Civil Aviation Authority to issue an alert for heightened caution.

In addition to the possibility of thundershowers, there is a chance of low clouds or fog patches developing late at night to early morning along parts of the Arabian Sea and Oman Sea coasts. Residents and sailors are advised to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure safe navigation during these periods of reduced visibility.

The authority has also warned of potential hazards associated with the weather conditions, including reduced horizontal visibility during thundershowers and dust. Moreover, the risk of flash floods looms large in areas experiencing heavy rainfall.
