MUSCAT : The culmination occurred at the Oman Across Ages Museum in the Wilayat of Manah, patronized by His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Saeed Al Hajri, Governor of the Al Dakhiliya Governorate.

These crucial meetings served as a platform for the Authority to showcase its efforts, plans, and initiatives to empower entrepreneurs. With a focus on enhancing communication and understanding the obstacles encountered by SME owners, the sessions aimed to devise effective solutions and bridge the gap between stakeholders. The ultimate goal was to formulate strategic plans and programs tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs across various governorates, nurturing innovation and sustainable growth within the SME sector.

Before the conclusion of the meetings, a pioneering evening unfolded in Harat Al-Aqr, Wilayat of Nizwa, in collaboration with the Governorate of Al-Dakhiliyah. Under the auspices of His Excellency Dr Ali bin Masoud Al-Sunaidi, Chairman of the General Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, the event spotlighted the inspiring journeys of small merchants like Aouf Al-Awfi, Maryam Al-Kindi, and Hood Al-Subhi, showcasing their active roles within Nizwa Market. Additionally, innovative student-led companies were showcased, reflecting Oman’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship among its youth.

As part of the evening’s activities, Their Excellencies and entrepreneurs explored the Al-Aqar Wall and Square, a renowned archaeological landmark offering unique vistas and visitor services, enriching the tourism experience in the region.

Noteworthy is the substantial growth of SMEs in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, with 12,692 enterprises registered, of which 4,011 hold an entrepreneurship card.
