MUSCAT : The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Office of the Joint Inspection Team in the Directorate General of Labour in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, carried out inspection campaigns in the Wilayat of Ibra in partnership with the Ibra Municipality, the Department of Trade and Investment Promotion, and the Directorate General of Agriculture and Fisheries in the governorate.
The campaign focused on barns, slaughterhouses, street vendors, and commercial centers, which resulted in the arrest of a number of workers for violating the provisions of Labour Law.
Legal measures are being taken against the arrested workers.
