SAUDI ARABIA: The cooperation program was formalized through a signing ceremony attended by key stakeholders, including Engineer Sultan bin Ahmed Al Wahaibi, CEO of the Oman Broadband Company, and Eng. Wael Al Ghamdi, CEO of the Saudi Dawiyat Integrated Telecommunications and Information Technology Company, underscores the shared commitment of both entities towards mutual strategic benefits and technological advancement.

Central to the program is establishing state-of-the-art fiber optic networks to enhance terrestrial connectivity between the two nations. This infrastructure initiative will facilitate seamless communication and pave the way for the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best practices within the communications and information technology sectors.

Speaking on the significance of the collaboration, the CEO of the Oman Broadband Company emphasized the program’s focus on innovation, research, and development. By leveraging emerging technologies and conducting joint research projects, the partnership seeks to propel advancements in optical fibers and drive the evolution of ICT products and services to meet market demands.

Furthermore, the signing of the agreement coincides with the Oman Broadband Company’s participation in the Saudi LEAP 2024 exhibition in Riyadh.
