Muscat: This is the 3rd edition of the event organized by the Deccani Wing of Indian Social Club Oman. 12 Deccani teams participated. Dr Syed Sirajuddin Ahmed was the chief guest, Mohammed Mansoor Sabri Co Convener Deccani Wing & Mr Mohammed Zaheer Al din, chief of the organizing Committee, welcomed the chief guest and expressed gratitude to the Chief guest.

He applauded the tremendous hard work put in by the Organising committee to make the event a grand success. Best wishes were presented to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik Al Said.

In his address, Dr Siraj expressed appreciation for the impressive organization of the event and the good cricket played in hard-fought matches. He was impressed with the large turnout of the spectators, including families and Hyderabadi Omanis and some members of Oman under 19 academy cricket teams. Chief Guest was later introduced to the teams playing in the finals.

This year’s final was won by Deccan Warriors, captained by Syed Naimat, while runners-up were Deccan Musketeers, led by Md. Sardar Munawar, batting first, Deccan Musketeers, made 59 runs in the allotted 8 overs for losing 5 wickets. In response, Deccan Warriors scored 62 runs in 7.5 overs for the loss of 5 wickets.
A.Samad, Dawood, Mohsin, Abdul Aziz, and Dr Saheem were the guests of honour in the prize distribution ceremony.

Man of the Match was Md. Shakeel Ahmed. Dr Wasif Convener Decani wing & Mr Suhail Khan, Joint Secretary ISC, congratulated on the grand success of the event the winning team & chief organizer Zaheer Aldeen and his team, including Syed Naimath, Mirza Zulkhadar Baig, Zaki Ahmed, Fasiuddin, Ali, Imran, Ilyas, Kabeer, ArsalanMoiz (commentator).
