MUSCAT: KJ Prabhu, General Manager of Mustafa Sultan Exchange has passed away due to cardiac arrest, sources close to his family informed The Arabian Stories on Saturday.
Prabhu, who was Assistant General Manager at State Bank of India, was working on deputation for foreign services at Mustafa Sultan Exchange since 2020. “He was preparing to return to India this month as he was completing his four-year deputation service in Oman,” a friend close to Prabhu said.
“This morning (Saturday), Prabhu had a chest pain and was taken to a private hospital in Ruwi where he was pronounced dead,” said his friend.

Prabhu hailed from Dharapuram, a small town in Coimbatore in south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
