MUSCAT : The Ruwi Smashers have emerged as the Muscat KMCC Trikaripur Constituency Cricket Fest 2024 champions after a thrilling final match against Asfandyar X1.
The first ever Muscat KMCC Trikaripur Constituency Cricket Fest 2024 concluded with great success as the highly organized committee orchestrated a thrilling finale, where Ruwi Smashers emerged victorious against Asfandyar X1. This prestigious tournament, which consisted of 16 skilled teams, displayed remarkable cricketing skills and set the foundation for what is expected to be an annual event.
The semifinals were intense, featuring clashes between Ruwi Smashers and Al Daam and Asfandyar X1 against UPC Oman. The final battle between Ruwi Smashers and Asfandyar X1 added a captivating chapter, with Ruwi Smashers displaying exceptional skills to claim the championship.

Shanid of Ruwi Smashers was rightfully bestowed with the ‘Man of the Series’ award for his stellar all-round performance. Additionally, he secured the ‘Best Bowler’ title, showcasing his prowess on the field. ‘Best Batsman’ was deservedly awarded to Umar Aslam of Asfandyar X1 for outstanding contributions throughout the tournament.
The cricket fest was conducted across four grounds and provided an electrifying experience for players and spectators. The success of the inaugural tournament was acknowledged during the closing ceremony, where Muscat KMCC Trikaripur Constituency Secretary Mohammed Riyaz N and President S Kunnahamad Said expressed their satisfaction and gratitude.
The winners’ trophy, sponsored by Arco Heritache Village, AH Group, was presented by Muscat KMCC Joint Secretary Shajahan Pazhayangadi and Vice President Navas Chenkala, adding a special touch to the celebratory moment.
Their generous contribution significantly contributed to the tournament’s success and underscored the community’s spirit of collaboration. Plans are already in move for the exciting Season 2, building upon the success of this inaugural event.
