Oman Embassy in Jakarta issues notice to travelers visiting Indonesia

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jakarta has issued a notice to apprise Omanis wishing to visit Indonesia that a tax will be imposed on foreign tourists.

Muscat – “The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jakarta would like to inform fellow Omani citizens wishing to visit the Republic of Indonesia that the Bali Provincial Government will impose a tax on foreign tourists to the amount of 150,000 rupees, equivalent to 10 US dollars,” said the Embassy notice.

Holders of diplomatic and official visas, holders of temporary or permanent residence cards, reunification visa holders, transport vehicle crew members, student visa holders and golden visa holders will be exempt from tax.
