Tourists flock to Al-Mudhaibi valleys after Oman’s stormy weather spell

The valleys of Al-Mudhaibi in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate have transformed into bustling tourist hotspots, drawing visitors from both near and far.

Muscat – Wadi Andam has become a magnet for tourists, boasting a captivating natural park adorned with desert trees. The Al-Mudhaibi Municipality Department, through its Samdalshan branch, has spared no effort in enhancing the tourist experience at this site. From children’s playgrounds to well-appointed amenities such as toilets, a mosque, and scenic seating areas along the valley’s banks, visitors are treated to a blend of comfort and natural beauty.

Further east, Wadi Al-Lathali has also captured the imagination of travellers with its flowing waters and the picturesque aflaj of nearby villages, painting a mesmerizing scene. Tourists have been spending entire days exploring the area, captivated by its serene ambiance and breathtaking vistas.

Not to be outdone, the valleys of Samdal Al-Shan, Al-Rawdah, Al-Shuwai’i, Al-Batha’a, Al-Ma’aden, Zijt, and the dam at Al-Wariya have all experienced a similar surge in tourist footfall. Families, in particular, have flocked to these sites, enticed by the abundance of tourist services and the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature’s splendour.
