Muscat – Engineer Daoud bin Salem Al Haddabi highlighted Madayn’s remarkable digitalization and industrial development progress during the past year. With investments exceeding RO 207 million in 2023 alone, Madayn’s total investment volume in industrial cities surpassed RO 7.4 billion, reflecting a commitment to fostering economic growth and attracting local and foreign investments.
The corporation’s focus on nationalized projects established 2,063 projects across various stages, employing over 55,000 workers, of whom 38 per cent are national cadres. These endeavours underline Madayn’s dedication to enhancing employment opportunities and empowering local communities.
Furthermore, Madayn’s latest initiative, the Mada’in Entrepreneurial Complexes Project, aims to support small and medium enterprises by providing model factories in industrial cities. This initiative aligns with the Sultanate’s vision for economic diversification and innovation, fostering a conducive environment for business growth and investment localization.

By the end of 2023, Madayn reached 74 per cent proficiency, marking a significant improvement from previous years and signalling a successful trajectory towards digital excellence.
Key digital systems implemented by Madayn include administrative and financial management systems, investor service platforms, and geographic mapping systems. These innovations streamline operations, enhance investor experience, and promote internal efficiency, aligning with the goal of creating a conducive investment environment.
Moreover, Madayn’s commitment to occupational safety and health, environmental preservation, and sustainable development underscores its holistic approach towards responsible industrialization. By conducting thousands of health inspections, risk assessments, and environmental awareness campaigns, Madayn strives to mitigate risks and promote a safety culture and environmental stewardship among stakeholders.
