Muscat – The incident, which occurred on 08 February 2024, prompted the aircraft to return to Milan Malpensa Airport for immediate assessment and resolution. Passengers and crew were promptly disembarked, and Oman Air has since provided accommodations for affected passengers in nearby hotels.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused,” expressed Oman Air officials, emphasizing their commitment to passenger safety and operational integrity. Despite the disruption, the airline has assured passengers that efforts are underway to arrange alternative flights at the earliest convenience.
