MUSCAT : Saif bin Ahmed Al-Dhahouri, the Director of the Municipal Council Affairs Department in Musandam Governorate, unveiled the dynamic tapestry of the “Musandam Winter” season, now in its second edition. With a lineup of 50 diverse events spanning the governorate’s picturesque landscapes, this season aims to invigorate the local tourism sector while nurturing youth projects and small-medium enterprises.


From cultural extravaganzas to adrenaline-pumping sports competitions, the “Musandam Winter” season caters to all tastes and age groups. Over 20 events have enthralled audiences since the season’s inception, with more exciting programs on the horizon. Notable highlights include the upcoming “Musandam International Sculpture Forum” and the eagerly anticipated “Wadi Madha Festival,” set to kick off on February 20th. This two-week extravaganza promises entertainment, adventure activities, art exhibitions, handicrafts, and culinary delights.
Al-Dhahouri emphasized that the season endeavours to elevate tourism in Musandam by showcasing unique cultural and recreational offerings. From enchanting sea voyages to dolphin-watching, exhilarating diving excursions to traversing historic mountain pathways, the governorate offers an array of experiences to enchant visitors. The “Musandam Winter” season will also feature the lively Musandam Carnival and the marine festival, showcasing the region’s rich heritage and maritime traditions.
