MUSCAT : Emphasizing the significance of the competition, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said acknowledged the formidable challenge awaiting the team in the AFC Asian Cup. However, he voiced optimism, placing trust in the skills and dedication of the players to secure positive results and make the nation proud.

However, hopes are pinned on the potential and capabilities of our team players, and we see the extent of their sincere desire to reach the podium and their dedication to raising the name of their country, which is proud of them as honourable heroes.” said His Highness.

In his address, His Highness not only encouraged high sportsmanship but also offered valuable advice to the national team’s players and its technical and administrative staff. He urged them to sharpen their resolve and foster a sense of fair competition, emphasizing the importance of showcasing their talents and abilities to meet the passionate expectations of their broad fanbase and fulfil the ambitious aspirations of the nation.
