MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday issued instructions to set a timeframe for the development of Jabal Al Abyad area and the village of Wakan with the prime aim of providing basic infrastructure and appropriate conditions to make use of the areas’ potential and their tourism landmarks.
His Majesty directed the authorities to develop both Jabal Al Abyad and Wakan Village as two important destinations for trips, camping and adventure tourism.
Jabal Al Abyad is located in Al Batinah North Governorate, while Wakan Village is located 150km from Muscat.
