MUSCAT : The Ministry of Health in Oman revealed a reassuring update, disclosing the detection of several mild cases of the new COVID-19 variant in the country since October last year. All affected individuals have fully recovered, providing a glimmer of hope amidst the ongoing global health concerns. Additionally, the ministry noted a significant spike in seasonal influenza viruses, with December witnessing a remarkable 41% prevalence among laboratory-tested samples.
