MUSCAT : This noble endeavour took place within the picturesque Wadi Dawkah Reserve in the Dhofar Governorate, undertaken in collaboration with various volunteer teams, tourist groups, site visitors, and the local community, coincides with the celebration of the inclusion of the Frankincense Land sites on the esteemed World Heritage List.
Marking the auspicious occasion, this tree-planting initiative is aligned with the annual commemoration on December 2nd. It is a joint effort facilitated by the Ministry in conjunction with an investing company.
The event signifies a significant stride towards nurturing the Wadi Dawkah Reserve, celebrating its inclusion on the prestigious World Heritage List, fostering a renewed appreciation for the region’s cultural and environmental heritage
