Zuwaina Al Rashidi, Founder of Dar Al Herfya, to grace Women’s Panel at TAS Conclave

Zuwaina Al Rashidi, the visionary founder of Dar Al Herfya (World of Handicrafts), will partake in the women’s panel at the third edition of The Arabian Stories Conclave, which is scheduled to unfold at W Hotel Muscat on December 10.

MUSCAT : TAS Conclave 2023, structured as a future-forward approach to bolster Oman’s socio-economic horizon through impactful narratives, will present an engaging women’s panel, featuring eminent women from a cross section of the society, who will deliberate on ‘How Women Are Shaping the Future of Oman.’


As part of the panel, Zuwaina Al Rashidi, the driving force behind Dar Al Herfya, a platform dedicated to empowering women and artisans, will share her journey, challenges, and triumphs she has achieved over the years. Her talk promises to throw the spotlight on the changing role of women in Oman and the significant contributions they are making across diverse sectors.


A graduate of Sultan Qaboos University, Zuwaina has nearly two decades of experience in communication and branding across various sectors. Her credentials also include ‘Women leadership program for entrepreneurs’ from Harvard Kennedy School (Executive Education) and the distinction of ‘Best Female Entrepreneur 2015’ from The Entrepreneurship Awards, in addition to a host of other milestones.


Under her leadership, Dar Al Herfya, which is into CSR, marketing, packaging and producing Omani handicraft gifts by collaborating with talented Omani crafters, has become a platform of immense significance for artisans and craftsmen in Oman. The organization collaborates with over 800 families, providing vital support through the purchase of their handmade products and promoting recognition of their craftsmanship.


An excellent negotiator and strategist, Zuwaina holds the distinction of establishing Oman TV’s marketing and advertising department, establishing mobile plans and strategies, and shaping national brands, among others; she also has memberships in local and international committees and organisations.


Zuwaina’s participation in the Conclave underscores her commitment to fostering meaningful dialogue on the instrumental role of women in steering Oman towards a progressive future. Her talk on the evolving landscape for women in Oman and the impact they are making across various sectors is sure to resonate with attendees.
