NEW YORK : Addressing the India-UN Development Partnership Fund’s sixth-anniversary event, Mohammed praised India’s adherence to the philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ envisioning a world interconnected as one family. She underscored the fund’s significant achievements, stating it has backed 76 development projects in 54 developing nations and emphasized its transformative impact.

United Nations General Assembly President Dennis Francis congratulated India and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation for six years of productive collaboration, acknowledging the fund’s substantial support for projects across 54 countries in the Global South. The India-UN Development Partnership Fund, established in 2017, operates within UNOSSC, is managed by the United Nations, and is led by the Government of India, aiming to empower sustainable development projects, especially in least-developed countries and small island developing states.
