MUSCAT : The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism will organize a host of entertainment and interactive activities of the frankincense season at the sites of the land of frankincense in the Al Baleed and Sumharam archaeological parks, and the Wadi Dawka Natural Reserve.
The Season activities include many scientific and cultural programs and activities such as exhibitions specialized in the manufacture and production of Omani frankincense derivatives and perfumes, in addition to allocating corners for home industries, small and medium enterprises, specialized companies, and pioneering projects for university students, in addition to organizing a group of tourism experiences represented by pleasure boats and kayaks.
There will be frankincense tree planting in which participants will have the opportunity to plant frankincense trees at the Wadi Dawkah Reserve site, commemorating the inscription of the Land of Frankincense sites on the Unesco World Heritage List.

There will be a Frankincense Caravans Art Exhibition to showcase the artistry of talented individuals; an Interactive Children’s Corner will engage in a fun and educational adventure at the interactive children’s corner; enchanting entertainment, lighting shows and performances among others.
