MUSCAT : “The Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) recorded a moderate earthquake in the Wilayat of Shaleem and Al Halaniyat Islands, with a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale at 01:05AM. The epicenter of this earthquake is about 187 km northeast of the city of Salalah,” stated the Sultan Qaboos University EMC report.
