MUSCAT : With its unveiling, the Al-Rahba Mosque stands tall as a beacon of Islamic architecture, epitomizing Oman’s rich cultural heritage. Spanning an expansive area of 5,500 square meters, the mosque boasts a capacity to accommodate 1,200 male worshipers and 50 female worshipers, symbolizing a serene sanctuary for spiritual contemplation and devotion.
The inaugural Friday prayers resonated within the mosque’s halls, graced by the insightful sermon delivered by Dr. Ismail bin Nasser Al-Awfi, Scientific Advisor in the Office of the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs. The auspicious opening ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of several dignitaries, including Their Excellencie governors, members of the Shura Council, officials, and respected personalities from the governorate.
