Muscat: The worldwide release of Salman Khan’s latest movie titled ‘Tiger 3’ is rumoured to have been banned in Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar. Posters of the movie at the local cinema houses are conspicuously absent.
According to online reports, the ban is alleged to be due to the portrayal of Islamic countries and characters in a negative light.
Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, is the new Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner.
The film is a sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai, which released in 2017.
