Muscat: The taxi fares, to be determined by the Aber mobile-taxi meter, will be applicable for passengers utilizing the services at hotels, malls and the Port

As per the set fare structure for licensed app-based taxis, the rental service at hotels start at OMR 1.5, with an addition of 250 baizas per kilometer. Waiting charges are fixed at 50 baizas after the lapse of ten minutes.

Taxi fares at commercial centers will start at 300 baizas, with charges per kilometer fixed at 130 baizas. Waiting charges are same as hotel taxis – 50 baizas after ten minutes. The minimum fare per trip is OMR 1.

Taxi rentals at Port Sultan Qaboos starts at OMR 1.5, with an addition of 250 baizas per kilometer and extra charge of 50 baizas for waiting more than ten minutes.

Licensed taxi operators at hotels are Marhaba and Oman Taxi; Hala, OmanTaxi, Otaxi, Hala and Tasleem are licensed to will operate at commercial centres; and Marahaba will operate from Port Sultan Qaboos.
