Muscat – The statement reads as follows: “It is with great regret and sadness that the Embassy received news of the killing of an Omani citizen in Cairo this morning, Monday, September 18, 2023. As a result, the Embassy is following up with the competent Egyptian authorities on the details of the incident. The Embassy expresses its confidence in the competence of the Egyptian authorities in uncovering the circumstances of the case in order to achieve the desired justice.”
